THE MOST AMAZING OF CELL THERAPY
Dating back to 1552 B.C., Cell Therapy has been around for thousands of years, where the preparations of animal organs for medicinal purposes have already been documented in the Eber Papyrus, the oldest preserved medical document. Aristotle, in the Middle Ages, has mentioned the therapeutic use of animal organs several times in the Materia Medica. And in the 16th century a famous philosopher, Paracelsus, established the fundamental principle of Cellular Therapy – ‘Similia Similibus Curantur’or ‘Like Treats Like’. This principle delineates the treatment of specific organs with the implantation of cells or tissues sourced from the corresponding organ. Moreover, all biological systems in nature are composed of the same types of molecules. Great majority of proteins from different organisms, including man, are similar over the entire amino acid sequence, i.e. they are homologous of each other and in general carry out similar functions. The homologous proteins has evolved over billions of years from a common ancestor, and has hence logically established a ‘principle of homology’ used in Cell Therapy. With over 80 years of research and over 5 million clinical applications to date, Cell Therapy is a natural therapy that capitalizes on the regenerative and healing power of our own body, through implantation of cellular materials into our body. The concept of cellular renewal is closely associated with the treatment of various ageing, chronic or degenerative diseases. Fundamentally speaking, the four trillion cells in our human body are continuously sustained throughout our entire life via cellular renewal – when existing cells are damaged or old, they are replaced by new and young cells. This process of replacement and stimulation happens regularly in the body of healthy and young individuals, with an energetic and balanced bio-terrain. However as we age, the process of cellular renewal slows down; old and malfunctioning cells are not replaced as regularly as they should be. Our bodies are thereof unable to execute bodily functions like before. There are many reasons that contribute to the retardation of cellular renewal processes in our body: improper nutrition, processed sugars, food additives, unhealthy lifestyles with heavy smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, pollution with carcinogenic solvents, heavy metals and pesticides, and an overall increase in stress due to modern fast-paced lives. As a result of the incompetence of our bodies to replace or restore the old, malfunctioning cells, we become vulnerable to premature ageing and chronic degenerative diseases. Cellular Therapy aims to rejuvenate our bodies by aiding the cellular renewal of old, malfunctioning cells. It is a powerful and rigorously tested natural treatment that fundamentally involves the implantation of cells or extracts of fetal tissue into the human body. These young cells will thereafter stimulate the growth and function of existing tissue, awaken dormant cells, and repair old or malfunctioning cells. When implanted into our bodies, these fresh and young cells are broken down into their basic elements such as enzymes, polupeptides, deoxyribonucleic acids, ribonucleic acids and other basic organic substances. These basic elements are then reused by the cells, tissues and organs of the body to engender therapeutic effects.
